Presentations – trends and novelties, or what is actually a moodo?

If you really want to reach and convince your audience today, you have to dig a little deeper into the technical “bag of tricks”. The trend is increasingly towards incorporating moving images to keep attention, emotions and the gain of knowledge at the highest possible level. Smavicon has taken up this topic and developed the application “Moodo” for its customers as an absolute world novelty.

Since its inception, Smavicon has always worked to create new solutions and put innovative ideas into practice. On a few occasions, we have succeeded in creating genuine world firsts that have ultimately influenced the entire industry. The Innovation Hub, which is headed by Thomas Gabor, was set up at smavicon specifically for this purpose. We are currently using the moodos we developed with our customers for even better results in presentations.

What is a moodo?

With the moodos we penetrate into the depth psychology of the human being. It is a viewing scenario that represents the transition from a photograph to a video. A kind of hybrid composition between photo and video has been created here, so to speak. This composition makes it possible to activate a further frequency range in the brain and thus achieve a higher level of attention without being disturbing or putting the viewer in a passive state. In this way, information on moods can be anchored more intensively in the memory than with a conventional background. They are suitable for high-intensity transport and anchoring of important core information. This method specifically addresses the brain regions that stand for curiosity and surprise. The moodos were further developed by Smavicon from layered image sequences of a research and investigation series. In the meantime, a patent application has also been filed for the technology.

Where do moodos come into play and what are the benefits?

Moodos are already successfully used by various companies and corporations for example in the field of image, sales and training.

Before a moodo can be built, the exact target group must be determined according to a limbic model. How does this target group predominantly think, feel and act and how can they best be reached? The basis for this analysis could be, for example, the Presentation Booster Method by Matthias Garten. So it is important who should be addressed by the moodos. Then, target group-specific trigger mechanisms, i.e., triggers for change, can be built into the moodos that lead to an increase in attention.

A moodo can be used excellently in a presentation in large format image areas, as well as in conventional image areas with a high-quality standard resolution.
